Marsh’s Construction, Power and Utilities Practice has been involved in servicing all sectors of the nuclear cycle since commercial civil nuclear power commenced in the 1950s. We were heavily involved in the UK advanced gas-cooled reactor (AGR) construction programme and the appointed construction broker for the Sizewell B pressurised water reactor (PWR), the last nuclear power station to be built in the UK. We are currently working on the British Energy nuclear asset improvement programme at five existing sites and we have been intimately involved as brokers and risk management advisers for the majority of recent nuclear construction activity which has taken place in Europe and North America.
