Wins Reactions award for second year running
London, 1 July, 2011 – Martin South, CEO of Marsh UK & Ireland, has been named ‘Insurance Broker CEO of the Year’ for the second year running in the Reactions magazine’s London Market Awards.
Nominated by his peers, Mr South received the award in recognition of the pivotal role he has played in leading the transformation of Marsh’s UK business. This includes the successful integration of HSBC Insurance Brokers, expansion of its Marsh ProBroker network proposition and significantly improved operational and financial performance.
Mr South said: “I am deeply honoured to accept this award, which is testament to the continued dedication and commitment of all our colleagues in the UK and Ireland.

Also celebrating success at the awards was Marsh's Aviation team, which won the 'Broking Team of the Year in Aviation' category; and sister company Guy Carpenter, who lifted three awards: for casualty reinsurance broking, aviation reinsurance broking and facultative reinsurance broking.
