Former International CFO returns to join UK board

London, 5 October, 2010 – Marsh Ltd has appointed Equitas CEO, Jane Barker, to a newly-created Non-Executive Director position on its board with immediate effect. Ms Barker previously worked at Marsh for 14 years, latterly as its International CFO.

Ms Barker has been CEO of Equitas since 2007, having previously served as its Finance Director since 1995. Previously, she was Chief Operating Officer of the London Stock Exchange. Ms Barker joined CT Bowring, later Marsh, in 1976 and was appointed Managing Director and International CFO in 1988.

In addition to her responsibilities at Equitas, Ms Barker is Non-Executive Director of Santander UK plc, a Member of the Council of the Royal College of Music and a Lay Canon of Salisbury Cathedral.
