UK Claims Leader named Outstanding Broker Individual of the Year
London, 3 June, 2011 – Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser, has been awarded Outstanding Broker Team of the Year at the Insurance Times Claims Excellence Awards held recently in London. In addition, Barry Jones, UK Claims Leader, was recognised as the “Outstanding Broker Individual of the Year.”
Commenting on the awards, Mr Jones said: “This is a superb result for the UK Claims team. A major element of the judging of this award is client testimonials – do you live up to your commitments? Are you there to help your clients when they need you most? The client feedback we received is reflective of the manner in which our Claims team delivers.”
Martin South, Marsh’s UK CEO, added: “Throughout the financial crisis and beyond, a great claims service has been more important than ever to our clients. Barry and his team have met and exceeded these challenges and have now been rightly recognised for their achievements. My thanks to Insurance Times for highlighting this important work in our industry.”
