Marsh’s UK Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme has won the ‘CSR Programme of the Year’ Award in this year's British Insurance Awards. Marsh received the award for the restructuring of its CSR activities to develop a measurable programme which clearly engaged with employees and communities throughout the UK.
Marsh’s ‘Helping People and Communities at Risk’ programme comprises charitable, employee volunteering, matched giving and sustainability activities in the UK, as well as major support for parent company Marsh & McLennan Companies’ ‘Charity of the Year’.
Commenting on winning the award, Nick Jones, Head of Communications and Marketing at Marsh for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said: “Marsh is delighted to have won the CSR Programme of the Year award. This is testament to the commitment both the company and our colleagues make in supporting the communities in which we operate across the UK.
