Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser, has appointed Wendy Lamin as a Development Executive in its Financial and Professional (FINPRO) Practice. Based in Edinburgh, Ms Lamin will advise Scottish financial institutions on managing their risk and insurance portfolios and drive growth among the firm’s existing Scottish client base.

Ms Lamin joins Marsh in Edinburgh from the firm’s office in Brussels, Belgium, where she was a senior client adviser for the FINPRO and Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions (PEMA) Practices for eight years. During this time, Ms Lamin specialised in offering insurance advice to international clients on a wide range of insurance solutions, including directors’ and officers’ liability, fidelity, initial public offering (IPO), professional liability and transaction risks. Before joining Marsh, Ms Lamin was a lawyer for five years and worked with Andersen Legal in Brussels in the fields of commercial law and litigation.
