Following a period of significant growth in the last 12 months Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser, is expanding its Maidstone operations to meet surging demand for the firm’s specialist risk and insurance services in the South East.

Marsh has appointed Steve Adams and John Bellingan, who both previously worked for Willis in Maidstone, to drive its new business development strategy and client servicing in the South East. They will report to Jas Ram, head of Marsh’s Maidstone office.

Mr Adams has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years, both as a broker and insurance underwriter. In his previous role as an Account Director for Willis in Maidstone, Mr Adams was responsible for client servicing and new business development.

Mr Bellingan was previously Commercial Business Developer for Willis in Maidstone, which centred on developing relationships with clients in the South East. He has worked in the insurance industry for over 13 years, in both the UK and South Africa.

In addition to the new joiners, Kym Ongley has been promoted to Client Executive, and will focus on client delivery and business expansion opportunities in the South East.
