Marsh has appointed Alan Morton to be Senior Claims Advocate of its International Division and Property Claims Practice Group Leader, UK and International.
A claims professional with almost 30 years’ experience, Mr Morton joins from Aon Global Risk Consulting, where he was Director and Head of Claims Advocacy. Prior to Aon, he spent 23 years at JLT, where he was Head of Claims. During his time at JLT he set up and managed Echelon, its claims consulting business.
Commenting on the appointment, David Pigot, Head of Claims for Marsh’s International Division, said: “Alan Morton is a highly respected claims professional with vast experience of global insurance markets, particularly the London market. He will be a huge asset to us as we continue the development of our claims advocacy work, as well as in assisting our clients recover their true losses following a claim.”
