EDUCATION

Marsh’s Education Practice specialists are seasoned professionals who are devoted to developing innovative solutions to meet the risk management and insurance challenges of schools, colleges, and universities.

EducationThe education sector has significant and specialist risk management and insurance needs, partially driven by Corporate Governance requirements. Marsh has specialist teams focused on helping universities and colleges reduce costs, minimise risk and maximise value.

In the higher education sector, we focus on providing risk management and advice. For example, our Insurable Risk Evaluation tool is a 15 module risk audit which enables Universities to better understand how they are managing their particular exposures and any actions they need to consider to improve performance. Our Educated Risk newsletter keeps Universities advised of emerging and topical risk and insurance issues.

We can also help Universities to manage the OJEU procurement process, from full management of the entire process, to support with individual elements such as insurer selection, provision of tender specification, negotiation with interested insurers and interpretation of insurer responses.

We have specially designed and negotiated an insurance facility for colleges of education. We also produce periodic risk bulletins to keep colleges advised of risk and insurance market developments.

We are one of the leading insurance intermediaries acting on behalf of schools and academies. We specialise in providing innovative insurance products and services to schools and academies and their pupils and staff.

All our recommended policies are designed for schools and academies and our experienced executives can tailor these to meet the specific needs of individual clients. Our range of advisory services fully complements our comprehensive range of insurance products.

In addition to our involvement with the independent, maintained and academy sectors, we are able to provide personal accident insurance to individuals and families through our FamilyCover policy.
